‘Read, draw, write a storybook!’

Tales can’t only be read but they can be told, too. If we ask children, and we let them find out their own stories, they will share them with us because children are full of ideas. This is the aim we ask our pupils of junior section to take up their pen, let their soaring thoughts release, and put their tales into the public domain. We would like to issue children’s tales digitally before christmas.
2013 – Jubilee Year to the memory of Gárdoyi Géza – Gárdonyi Géza was born 150 years ago

Gárdonyi Géza (his original surname was Ziegler Géza; Gárdony-Agárdpuszta, 3rd August 1863 – Eger, 30th October 1922) writer, poet, playwright, journalist, educator. He was a prominent artist of Hungarian literature at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries and he is still popular nowadays. Gárdonyi’s popularity is proved by the fact that his novel ‘Eger stars’ was awarded with the title of ‘The most favourable novel of Hungary in 2005′ in the Great book contest.
