‘Through the children’s eyes’ issue from the children’s work
In the programme which tends to the development of reading culture and the popularization of library services we together with the children are going to collect our students’ work: drawings, short stories, tales, poems, descriptions etc. We are going to organize the compositions into subjects, then we are going to edit our issue.

2013 – Jubilee Year to the memory of Gárdoyi Géza – Gárdonyi Géza was born 150 years ago
Gárdonyi Géza (his original surname was Ziegler Géza; Gárdony-Agárdpuszta, 3rd August 1863 – Eger, 30th October 1922) writer, poet, playwright, journalist, educator. He was a prominent artist of Hungarian literature at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries and he is still popular nowadays. Gárdonyi’s popularity is proved by the fact that his novel ‘Eger stars’ was awarded with the title of ‘The most favourable novel of Hungary in 2005′ in the Great book contest.
